PICTURES OF JESSICA ALBA REVEALING HER FRUGAL SHOPPING SKILLS
These pictures of Jessica Alba, revealing her earth mother side with baby stroller and all, were probably taken earlier in the fall as her feet were practically bare in thongs peeping from under her long denim skirt. When I came upon them, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to showcase this celebrity mom and give her credit for shopping in the discount stores even before it was common knowledge that the economy was not that great and bargain shopping might be a good idea.
One might think that celebrity mom, Jessica Alba, also proved her savvy shopping skills in her choice of basic black baby diaper bag that we see hanging on the handles of the stroller. Except, I believe that the diaper bag might be the Mommy Chic baby diaper that was part of the huge presentation of baby shower gifts that were given to her on the Tyra Banks show.
In that vein, would anyone like to play the "Name That Celebrity Baby Stroller" game?
Ok, imagine the buzzer just went telling you that time is out for you to guess what kind of stroller the pictures of Jessica Alba is pushing about Tar Jay on that day a few months ago. Here's the answer to our Celebrity baby stroller question; it's an Orbit. It was reported that she had an Orbit stroller in mocha, but in this pic the stroller looks black like the one in this photograph.
No, she did not pick up this upscale stroller at Target as this store does not carry this expensive brand.

BABY SURI'S TRIP TO THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM
Here are some photographs of baby Suri Cruise and mom after baby Suri may have become a little tired. One can only wonder if she was weary of posing for pictures or if she didn't consider a trip to the New York Metropolitan Museum to be nearly as much fun as playing in the park. In this photo she is still wearing the pewter shoes, black leggings and velour top and mom, Katie Holmes, is still in a cable knit short sleeve sweater so we can imagine that it's later in the day and the little girl may be ready for a rest.

SIENNA MILLER'S STYLE SHINES IN LONDON PHOTOS
Sienna Miller showed impreccable style and taste from the chic, sleeveless dress with zipper details right down to the toes of her basic black shoes that matched her black clutch purse and hose.

Photos were snapped of Sienna Miller as she arrived at Mossimans Belfry for the Hollywood Dominos VIP launch today (on November 07, 2008) in London, England. Showing a healthy amount of leg and lots of smiling enthusiasm she posed prettily before continuing to breeze by the onlookers.
JENNIFER GARNER'S BABY BUMP
Take a look at the beginning of what appears to be a baby bump under celebrity mom, Jennifer Garner's pale blue sweater. The large, round sunglasses may hide her eyes, but the days of camouflaging a pregnancy may have passed her by. Daughter, Violet, and friend are following closely while mom carries the backpack. At least the lady carrying the baby is smiling for the camera!

George Stephanopoulos and Wife Alexandra Wenthworth
Flashback to December 2003. Political commentator George Stephanopoulos and wife Alexandra Wenthworth were attending the premier of Cold Mountain. How can this guy look younger now than he did five years ago? It's amazing how he's kept his cute, baby boy look. Could it be the windswept hair that always looks like he was just riding his bike without a helmet or ran his fingers though it?
Karissa Shannon and Kristina Shannon - How Did I Miss this Pic?
How I let this picture of Karissa Shannon and Kristina Shannon as well as and Laura Beth and Heather Renee Smith checking out the wares at the Beach Bunny Swimwear Spring 2009 fashion show in Culver City, California during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week that was held at Smashbox Studios last month is beyond me. But for those who may have missed it, check out the gold sandals the girls are wearing. They fall right in line with the post that I just did on Karina Smirnoff and her strappy gold sandals! KATIE and BABY SURI and MR. BEAR OUT FOR A STROLL
Katie Holmes and daughter Suri are seen out for a stroll on this fine fall day in their neighborhood in New York. The celebrity mom and daughter duo stopped off at a nearby park for a little outdoor fun. Once again, Suri was fashionably dressed in black leggings.
Today, instead of being bright as a button in red, she was sporting a brown velour smock style top and pewter or silver Mary Jane shoes. She was also manicured with some cute, red polish on her little fingernails that matches Berenstain Bear's perky red hat.
Far be it from me to question a celebrity's clothing choices, but you have to wonder if baby Suri came up with this outfit on her own or is the color combination of black and chocolate brown something trendy that was previously unacceptable?
KARINA SMIRNOFF - Identify the Gold Sandals and Pray for the Legs
Most of us can only wish for Karina Smirnoff legs, but the shoes are another thing altogether, IF you can identify them. These strappy gold designer sandals with (rhinestone?) buckles and ankle straps pull the polished red toes and amazing single shoulder red dress that Karina was wearing when posing for pictures with brunette beauty, Toni Braxton. But can you identify the designer of the shoes and evening bag?
The gold sandals cover more of her pretty celebrity feet than other styles that I have seen. They are similar to many of the top designer's creations, but there are unique differences like the charm, the buckles on the ankle straps, etc. The width of the straps compares to Stuart Weitzman gold python sandals but again, not quite the same.
If anyone wants to take a guess at identifying the brand of the strappy gold spike heels and gold evening clutch; go ahead take your best shot!

FALL FASHION TIGHTS
Fall fashions are in a constant state of flux, but you can always bet that tights will figure into the equation in some pattern, shape or form. Some years they lurk in the wings practically hanging their heads that they are good for little more than compression or support in the legs of professionals that have jobs that keep them on their feet for long hours at a time.
Then when you come around to a comfortable acceptance that they are good for layering under pants or boots for additional warmth in a pinch where black tights that go with anything is as good as it gets, out comes the latest in pantyhose tights in funky colors and patterns that haven’t been seen since the late 1960s when fishnet and windowpane stockings in crazy colors.
The history of tights goes way back but their most shining moment was in the days of flower power Haight Ashbury in the 60s was dominated by crazy outfits and out of this world fashion trends. There were young girls as well as grown women wearing cool, fashion tights under their mini-skirts that Twiggy and models of the day made so very popular without much emphasis on coordination. Plaids were lumped together with mod outfits and feather boas of contrasting colors that would give Liberace a headache, but there was method in the madness and somehow it all managed to work. We are still talking about the fashions worn in the era of Peace and Love so if nothing else; the styles were memorable.
The major complaint that was made about early fashion tights was that in the beginning before Lycra and Spandex came along was that by the end of the day the nylons were bagging in an unattractive manner at the knees. Even today, if you sit long enough you may find that your hosiery doesn’t spring back as quickly as you might like. Another fact is that most tights of days gone came before pantyhose was widely available. Whether you were trying to be sexy or not; your stockings were held up by a garter belt.
What I find funny is that every fall young girls head out to the discount stores to pick up the latest in hosiery in colors they are told are hip, trendy. They are fully convinced that they will not be able to properly dress without a particular pair and what is even more humorous is that they believe they are the first to appreciate tights as a fall fashion accessory.

GOTH MAKEUP IDEAS - EYE MAKEUP TIPS for the GOTHIC GIRL
There is a school of thought that any time is a good time for goth makeup ideas. Not being a person who likes the heavy feel of gothic makeup, I tend not to give it much thought until September or October in preparation for making appearances at fall harvest festivals and Halloween parties where wild eye makeup and hairstyles are the norm.
For those new to the scene, you might be a smug little novice to the realm of darkness and firmly hold the belief that the key to the successful application of goth makeup and eyeliner requires nothing more than lots of black eyeliner and shadow. So what if you are partially correct in your assumption; do not underestimate the imagination and artistry necessary to present yourself with a seamless and totally coordinated look from the top of your spiked hair to the tips of a beautiful pedicure with sharp, pointed toenails that have been painted with the blood red polish of your choosing.
There have been years when I had worn my hair bleached white for the summer and I took advantage of this time to use creative streaking with amazing colors for my hair. The hot pink or electric blue really looked cool with the platinum blonde in the background and the colors wouldn’t have been as eye catching on my dark black hair which resembles a raven’s wing in its natural state.
You may be amazed to find that gothic makeup tips for blondes and brunettes are worlds apart. There’s no rule that says that goth chicks with bleached blonde hair can’t use the same dramatic black eye makeup application ideas as ladies of the night with natural or dyed black hair, but it’s my honest opinion that blondes might explore the possibility of matching the colors of their eye shadow and liner to the neon streaks in their hairdo.
Black may be the color of choice for most goth makeup, but try purple, red, bold pink or even electric blue shadows and see what it does for your look. If it’s not your favorite look; so what? In the fall of the year there’s a party every night and you wouldn’t want to wear the same look more than once.
